An Olympic-sized ice rink hosts ice skaters from November through March. Fishing is excellent year round at Utah Lake for channel catfish, walleye, white bass, black bass and several different species of panfish. Utah Lake State Park lies at an elevation of 4,500 feet in central Utah. This low elevation allows for hot summers and mild winters. The region is arid with much of it’s precipitation occurring as summer thunderstorms or winter snowfall.
